Due to a recent change in Facebook rules, Little Diva Tutus is forced to change the way we do giveaways and contests!

At this time, we are hosting 2 contests that now have to be changed.

1) 25 Days of Christmas Giveaway...we will no longer be allowed to contact winners via Facebook or announce them on Facebook.

Winners will be announced this blog and Twitter Page.

2) Win a Years Supply of Little Diva Tutus has now been changed to a Penny Sale.

The "winner" of the Years Supply of Little Diva Tutus will now be required to purchase the prize pack for a Penny. Upon winning you will be required to send us 1 cent via Paypal.

We will continue with our plan to create a YouTube video on the Little Diva Tutus channel of the drawing and share the video on this blog, the LittleDivaTutus Twitter page as well as the Little Diva Tutus Facebook page.

So, why the new rules? My guess is that it's about the money. When people refer their friends to Facebook business pages such as ours they lose out on advertising fees. I assume that before long, businesses will be required to pay a monthly fee to keep their fan pages.

Here's how it's going to work...We will design and send you one (1) tutu each month for an entire year! Upon winning we will ask you for your Little Diva's size and birthday. You will have the opportunity to design your own tutu for the month of her birthday.

The Rules:

1) This prize pack is intended for one (1) child. If you are the parent of more than one child, you will be asked to decide which size you want at the time you win. We will adjust the sizes as the year goes on.

2) Due to shipping fees, this contest is open to US and Canada only.

3) Unless it's a Holiday or we are closed, tutus will be sent the 2nd week of each month. In the event that you need the tutu the 1st week of the month, we will do our best to get it to you in time for your event.

4) Upon winning, you will be asked which month you'd like your birthday tutu. We will contact you the month before asking you for the date you need the tutu by and the colors and/or pattern you'd like the tutu created in.

5) Tutus can not be substituted for cash, credit or other Little Diva Tutu items.

6) Children must be between newborn and 9 years old.

2010 Christmas Collection Unveiled!

I'm so excited to share our 2010 Christmas Collection with each of you. We brought back our favorite traditional colors in our Christmas Treats tutu, created in red, green and white as well as Christmas Tradition tutu created in a dark green and red!

Each tutu is created using 50-100 yards of premium tulle and satin ribbons. Each of our tutus are not only created just for you, but carefully packaged so the tutu you see in the photograph is the tutu arriving at your front door!

At this time our orders are being created and shipped in 5-10 business days! We do not ship on Saturdays.

The last day to place your Holiday order is December 13th.

Leading Moms in Business Winner !

We are pleased to announce that last month, Melissa Jones, was voted 24th place in the Leading Moms Business Women contest, held by StartupNation.com. Now you may be thinking 24th place, wow that is not that great, well I didn't tell you how many entries there were!! Among the thousands of entries, yes I said THOUSANDS, Melissa, owner / creator / president / tutu expert, ranked TWENTY FOURTH ! Now that is a big deal !! Melissa would never toot her own horn, but I think this is pretty wonderful !

This is the 2nd year StartupNation has held this contest & the outpouring support to Moms who are leading businesses into the future was HUGE ! There was a total of 709,000 votes placed for these amazing business women. This shows how innovative Moms can really be. StartupNation attributed social networks such as, Twitter, Facebook, and of course ... Blogs, to be future of businesses & business women. They say that this new way of giving a "word of mouth" recommendation is leading women from a small little hobby, to a successful, well run business.
